Personal, Local, Global

Jesus told his disciples that they would be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the Earth. In other words, share good news personally, locally and globally. We hope you will join us as we accept the challenge of reaching out in our personal world (our neighborhood, workplace, school), our local world (our community and city) and our global world.

Turkeys Delivered

Everyone should have something to be thankful for on Thanksgiving Day. Every year we assemble and deliver frozen turkeys with all the sides for a full Thanksgiving dinner to deserving families.

People served

Over the past 8 years we have raised over $500,000 for Water Mission to help provide safe, clean water for people around the world.

Christmas Gifts/year

Christmas is a time to spread joy. We partner with Charleston Hope’s “Adopt a Classroom” initiative each December to provide a gift for every student and teacher in local Title 1 schools.

Current Series

We just moved to the area last month! The Children’s Ministry leaders were absolutely incredible, so organized and welcoming and just couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a new family.

Find Your Group

We believe people grow best in community, not isolation. To get the most out of your life, it’s best to share it with others. Groups meet regularly throughout the community. Most Groups simply discuss that Sunday’s sermon, so it’s easy to jump in at any time.

Join a Volunteer Team

Our desire is that every person at Northwood experiences the joy of serving God through the church. There are many opportunities and areas of ministry in which you can use your gifts and talents.

Give Back

Giving part of your income, isn't merely giving something to God. It's giving back what was his to begin with. All that we have, or hope to have, comes from him. The Bible says that giving is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything. It teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
