Next Steps

At Northwood Church, we believe everyone has a next step in their faith journey. Whether you’re ready to get involved, seek support, or take a significant step in your walk with Christ, we’re here to guide you.

Become a Partner

At Northwood, becoming a partner starts with our Partner Track, a three-step journey that introduces you to our church family, mission, and values. You’ll meet our staff, discover your unique design, and learn how to make a meaningful impact as part of our community.

Find Your Group

Life is better together. Our groups meet regularly throughout Summerville and provide a place to connect, grow spiritually, and build lasting relationships. Many groups focus on Sunday’s sermon, making it easy to join whenever you are ready.

Join a Team

Discover the joy of serving God through the church. Whether your gifts lie in hospitality, worship, technology, or another area, there’s a place for you to make a difference and grow alongside others.

Prayer Request

We’re here to pray for you. Share your prayer needs with us, and if you’d like a pastor to reach out, include your phone number when submitting your request.

Get Help

No matter what you’re going through, we’re here to help. Whether you need encouragement, prayer, or counseling resources, our team is ready to support you.

Get Baptized

“For when you were baptized, you were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised in Christ.” — Colossians 2:12

Baptism is a powerful declaration of your faith and symbolizes new life in Christ. It’s an outward expression of the belief you already hold in your heart.

Child Dedication

Child Dedication sets up a partnership between your church and your family—it's a partnership that will ease anxieties, encourage, resource, and ultimately lead to your child developing a faith of their very own. As parents, you begin by publicly acknowledging your personal relationship with Jesus Christ. As you present your child to God in the presence of the pastor and congregation, you are recognizing that he or she belongs to God and has been born to experience His love and to serve Him.
