Sunday nights are specifically for 7th–12th-grade students. Discipleship is key to students staying connected to Christ and His Church long after high school. Being a disciple is all about being a learner of Jesus and a leader for Jesus.
Our environment on Sunday nights is called The 1:5 comes from Ephesians 1:5 which says “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family…”
Family is our number one core value at YOUTH.
To help students grow into what it means to be a part of God’s family, we will have a night once a month that includes dinner, worship, teaching and an activity for all students who want to take their next step into leadership. All 7th–12th-grade students are welcomed to join the YOUTH leadership team.
There is a person and a place for every student that comes to Northwood Church.
We believe it is important to be a part of the local church and not just attend. There are so many areas for students to get involved on Sundays.
7th through 12th-grade students will have a Youth corner before and after services. There will be opportunities to serve in environments all across campus as well as a Youth section, down at the front right, for them to engage in our Sunday morning experiences.
