Carissa Allen

KIDS JR SPECIALIST

Carissa started attending Northwood Church March of 2020.
Shortly after making Northwood her home church she began serving on the Kids Jr team. Then in September 2022 she came on staff as the Kids Jr Specialist. With a heart for children and a commitment to supporting their spiritual growth, Carissa loves working with the amazing team at Northwood to make an impact in the lives of families.

Outside of work, Carissa is married to Chris, and together they have four children. As a family they love to travel and explore new areas, along with spending time at the beach or lake.

As a teenager Carissa drew inspiration from 1 Timothy 4:12: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.” Which is probably another reason she felt led to Kids Jr to raise up young children to know Jesus.
