Leonard Wethington

Facilities Specialist & Safety Team Leader

Leonard Wethington is an avid outdoorsman who loves the Lord, his family, and serving at Northwood Church. After spending 35 years as a UPS driver, he transitioned into ministry, bringing his passion for safety and security to Northwood. Having served on the Northwood Safety Team for six years, he has trained extensively in church safety and security, ensuring a safe environment for worship and community.

Outside of work, Leonard loves spending time with his wife, Annette, their two daughters, their husbands, and his four wonderful grandkids. He enjoys fishing, firearms, and being around people—finding energy in meaningful conversations and shared experiences.

What Leonard loves most about Northwood is its Christ-centered environment and the opportunity to impact others for Jesus. He is inspired by John 15:5 (NIV): "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

Fun fact: Leonard has a fraternal twin brother!
