Rich McGough

Groups Pastor

Rich McGough is a Christ follower, a family man, and a sinner saved by grace. Since joining the Northwood Church staff in 2017, he has been passionate about building authentic community and helping people grow in their faith through meaningful relationships.

Outside of ministry, Rich loves spending time with his wife, Carrie, and their three kids—Grayson, Audrey, and Charlotte. He enjoys coaching youth wrestling, hunting for antiques, camping, and embarking on new adventures.

What he loves most about Northwood is the people. He considers it a blessing and honor to serve alongside such a genuine and welcoming church family. Rich holds onto the truth of 1 Corinthians 1:18: "The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those of us who are being saved, it is the power of God."

At one point in his life, Rich felt hopeless and without purpose—until he met Jesus, put his trust in Him, and made Him the center of his life. Now, his hope is found in Christ, and his purpose is to know and pursue Him.
