Amanda McGhee

Human Resources Specialist

Amanda McGhee has been part of the Northwood Church family for 20 years and joined the staff in 2015. In her role in HR and Finance, she brings dedication and care to supporting the church’s ministry, earning her Human Resources Ministry Professionals Certificate in 2023.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys baking—especially experimenting with new bread recipes—along with reading a good book or working on a jigsaw puzzle. She and her husband have three children, one granddaughter, and two beloved dogs.

For Amanda, Northwood is all about community. Whether through serving, hosting a small group, or engaging in outreach ministries, she loves connecting with people and seeing lives impacted. She’s inspired by Hebrews 10:24: "Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works."

Fun fact: Amanda grew up in rural Pennsylvania as one of eight children!
