Rodney Richard

LEAD PASTOR

Rodney Richard has been serving in ministry for over 40 years, beginning as a Sunday school volunteer at just 12 years old. His journey has taken him from leading kids and youth ministries in South Carolina to serving as a missionary in Mexico before joining Northwood Church in 2003. Starting as the Young Adult Pastor, he later led a portable campus for five years before stepping into the role of Lead Pastor in 2017.

A husband, dad, and proud "Big G" (grandpa), Rodney brings passion and creativity to everything he does—especially when it involves dreaming big and coloring outside the lines. Outside of ministry, he loves jogging, drinking good coffee, cheering on Clemson Football and the Dallas Cowboys, and traveling with his family.

Rodney is inspired by seeing generations worship, serve, and grow together. His heart is to introduce people to the Jesus he loves, knowing that God is the one who fights our battles (2 Chronicles 32:7-8).

Fun facts: His favorite movie is Tangled. He’s also completed an Ironman!
